The A Kind of Guise x adidas Ultra Boost launched in 2018 as part of a set of collaborative Consortium Ultra Boost styles called the Ultra Boost Collective. Most of the shoe's upper is covered in navy blue, with the material featuring a raised, rippled wave design. The tonal lacing system is unconventional, with laces that wrap around the entire midfoot multiple times, anchored at the sole. A suede heel cage and tongue tab add a premium touch. The bottom half contains a white Boost midsole and a marbled blue, yellow, black, and white outsole.
